Wai and Steve, the giggliest couple I met so far. South Farm, Royston, Herefordshire Yay, it's snowing. I was very excited about the snow on the day. Wonderful backdrop for wedding photography. The happy couple were well equipped with their heart shaped umbrella, some funny hats and a frame as a prop. My assistant held the umbrella over my equipment and out we went. In addition, I do have to say that South Farm is a fantastic venue with many, many lovely spots and nooks to discover. Wai and Steve were the sort of people I would definitely not describe as a serious couple but on the contrary, very easy going and fun. They laughed and giggled a lot. In fact, they did not giggle only when I told them not to. That would last a few seconds :) And guess where else that came quite visible in the wedding? What started as a slow romantic first dance finished with a very Wai and Steve rendition of Ganga style dance routine. Obviously, they giggled as they were dancing their way through it. I did wonder why they were acting a bit nervous and distracted at the beginning of the song. Wai had two dresses, one white and one traditional red Chinese wedding dress. Bridesmaids and Wai’s mum were also wearing traditional Chinese dresses. As I knew about that from our pre-wedding meeting, I decided to get some Chinese hand fans that we used too. I was also privileged to capture the traditional tea drinking ceremony, and yes, there were quite a few giggles during that too. Daniela K.
