There are no wedding venues in Cambridge that are more iconic than Cambridge colleges. We have an impressive combination of splendid architecture, romantic grounds and well-maintained gardens. Deeply filled with history, they are not just grand venues to get married in but they also provide a meaningful setting of significance and value. Not surprisingly, Cambridge colleges are often the natural choice for their current and former members.
This was one of those dream weddings to shoot. Amazing, warm hearted people everywhere, all day long that made me so welcomed I really felt to be a part of their day. Chloe and John were such a joy to be around and capturing the sweetest moments between them. They managed to turn the Tewin Village hall into a spectacular space with an abundance of greenery and personal touches. Love, love, love!
It was such an honour to be part of Neha and Simon's wonderful summer Indian wedding filled with traditions and symbolism. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about and admire Indian culture. Even more amazing being entrusted with capturing all those beautiful and emotional moments of a Hindu wedding.
What a wedding! I loved everything about James and Elle's style and décor but I absolutely adored how carefree and fun they were! Just about when we set off to take some couple portraits the wind went totally crazy, everything was flying about, trees bending, dress in the air, ribbons on the wedding bouquet all over the place, hair everywhere! The session was a killer anyway! With two people in love, no amount of wind matters.
"We knew we wanted a relaxed wedding with our closest friends and family and that we wanted to be able to put our own stamp on our wedding day. We didn’t exactly know where we wanted to tie the knot as our guests were coming from all over the country, so we’re really pleased that we found Bassmead as it was a beautiful venue and also central for everyone!"
