FAQ

How far do you travel?
I’m based in Cambridge but I do travel all around Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties. If your venue is more than about 2 hours drive from Cambridge, please do get in touch as there might be an additional charge for petrol and/or accommodation required.
How long will you stay?
Don't worry, I get there in time for all the good bits. I normally arrive just before you start doing your makeup and hair and I'll stay till about 10.00pm - unless you have something extra special planned, or there's some funky shapes being thrown on the dance floor, then I won't disappear.
Can we have a second photographer?
Sure, for all those extra angles and places I can’t be, I can arrange a second shooter at an additional £250.
Do you do family and group photos?
Absolutely. They're an important part of a capturing your wedding day. It can take a bit of organisation and I always advise my couples to keep it short and simple. We'll put your Ushers to work doing their 'ushing thing' and then we don't take forever - unless your gran's nodded off in a chair somewhere and no-one can find her, then it might take a bit longer.
Will you require food and drink on the day?
I do get pretty hungry, and while it's not part of our contract, it's great to be fed. I would really appreciate something yummy to keep me going.
Do we get any black and white photos?
There's just something about a good black and white shot gives a sense  of timelessness. After I edit all of the photos in colour, I will carefully select the photos that I think would look great in black and white. After you get to see them online, you can decide whether you'd like any more.
How long will the online gallery be available?
You'll have online access to your photos for 6 months. I keep a backup of all my work but technology can be glitchy so do make your own back ups too!
How/when can we arrange the pre-wedding shoot?
When you book me for your wedding, we'll make a plan. To make life simple, I usually combine the pre-wedding shoot with a good old fashioned get-to-know-you meet up. We'll chat about the plans for your big day first, then we'll head off for your shoot and it won't feel awkward.
I am quite chatty, so please allow a good 2 - 3 hours of fun!
What should we wear for the pre-wedding shoot?
You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in, dress up or dress down. I would recommend staying away from overly sporty clothing and try to match up your styles to complement each other. If one of you is dressed for a dinner party and the other like you're having a date with the sofa, then you're going to look odd.
When will we see our wedding photos?
In all honesty, this can vary a little bit. Lots of you like to get married in the sunnier months so I tend to be a busy bee and it may take me longer to sift through the best shots.

I usually say it's between 4 - 12 weeks as I look at each photo individually and aim to get the best results I can. Sometimes I might need to clean up a photo a bit, removing extraneous objects such as ugly plug sockets or exit signs.
How many photos do we get?
A lot! My finger never stops clicking because I don't want to miss a thing! The overall total varies depending on the number of locations, the light conditions, the weather, the people involved, how much is going on, the season etc.
However, it's pretty safe to say that you will get about 500 photos (usually a lot more).
Will we be able to print and share the photos?
As long as you are not using the photos commercially or alter them extensively, you can print and share them as much as you want.
Are you fully insured?
I'd be a fool not to be. Life throws us some curveballs at times, so yes, I am fully insured, including public liability.
Do you have a contract?
Yes. I want to make sure we both know what to expect and what we're getting ourselves into. You'll get a photography agreement that confirms your booking. Please, do have a read of it as it contains a lot of important information.
Always, always read the small print!
